HOW IT WORKS:

“The Links at Rent One Park” will feature five greens and seven holes painted into the Rent One outfield and adjoining Fireworks area (see course map attached).  The rules for The Links of Rent One Park golf are simple.

HOLE IN ONE – 1

Mark an ace on your scorecard and start your bragging.

BIRDIE – 2

If your call comes to a rest in the marked/colored area immediately surrounding your hole

PAR – 3

If your ball comes to a rest on the green that your hole is on

BOGEY – 4

If your ball lands anywhere outside of the green

DOUBLE BOGEY – 5

If your ball comes to a test in any hazard on the course or out of the stadium..

SCORE FOR HOLES #5 and #9 IS NUMBER OF PUTTS TAKEN

Golfers will start off in the Diamond Club with the opening tee shot will be taken from home plate, and just like the professionals, golfers names and hometown will be announced to the gallery while their shot is shown on the big videoboard. Tee shots will then be taken from all around the stadium onto the Rent One Park outfield, including tee boxes off the Miners Home Dugout, Party Porch, Bullpen Bar and Grill Area, Fun Zone and Picnic Garden.  The round concludes on the concourse with an obstacle-filled putting challenge hole, with golfers having the option to hit the final shot using a hockey stick putter, akin to the one used in the movie “Happy Gilmore.”

Top scores from the weekend will be displayed on the course leaderboard, with the top golfers over the weekend earning special Miners prize packs. In addition, there will be a putting green hole inside the Miners home clubhouse for a unique “fungo golf” experience not normally available to the public where golfers will see the Miners’ Honor Wall, team celebration photos, and more.  The Miners batting cage has been converted into a golf warm up area.
The experience concludes on the concourse in front of the gallery at the Miners new Home Plate Bar, where golfers will have the opportunity to relax with additional food and beverages available for purchase, watch other golfers and shop for commemorative merchandise.
