The 2021 Season will be Jake’s second season as a full-time staff member with the Southern Illinois Miners organization. Originally from Sesser, Illinois Jake graduated from Greenville University located in Greenville, Illinois with a degree in Sports Management along with a minor in business and marketing.  Previously, Jake interned for the Southern Illinois Miners during the 2017 and 2018 seasons. After that, Jake worked in the front office of the St. Louis Cardinals as a Direct Sales Representative. Jake is happy to be back in Southern Illinois where he was raised and is excited for great new season at Rent One Park!

In his free time, Jake enjoys passionately cheering for the St. Louis Cardinals, and St. Louis Blues. Jake also loves being outside, hunting, fishing, and playing golf any time he gets the chance.

  2. What did you major in?     Sports Management with a minor in business and marketing
  3. What was your favorite TV show when growing up?  My favorite TV Show growing up was definitely Drake and Josh
  4. Choose a movie title for the story of your life.  Field of Dreams
  5. What was your favorite toy as a kid? Why? My favorite toy as a kid was my toy Woody! I took him every where I went! Unfortunately, this was his demise because I left him at a hotel on vacation. It was a sad ending to a great friendship.
  6. What’s your favorite holiday and why?  Thanksgiving! I love being surrounded by all the people that I am most thankful for. Being with the family, eating too much, and watching football. It doesn’t get better than that
  7. What was the last book you read? Treason by: Newt Gingrich
  8.  On a scale of 1-10, how funny do you think you are? (10 being hilarious)
  9. What does #ALLIN mean to you?  #ALLIN, to me, means going above and beyond what is expected. I want to be #ALLIN for the amazing community of Southern Illinois because it has shaped me to be the man I am today.
